For extra credit write a paper about a famous mathematician. Include facts about his/her background, education, contribution to mathematics, or any other interesting or unique information.
You may write about more than one mathematician, if you wish.
Do not plagiarize. Cite every source. Be ready to answer questions (verbally) about the mathematician(s) you write about.
The paper must be typed, 12-pt New Times Roman font, double spaced.
Each page written is worth 1/4th of a test, and you may write up to four pages
(therefore, if you write all four pages, it is the same as a test grade).
Precalculus: due May 3, 2011
Algebra II: due May 10, 2011
